From a skipper across formats to a middle-order batter, Virat Kohli has seen everything in a few months. First, he left the T20I and RCB captaincy of his own and was then sacked from the ODI leadership role. The 33-year old recently stepped down from Test captaincy after a Test series failure in South Africa.
Former RCB head coach Simon Katich heaped massive praise on Virat Kohli. In his conversation with his former Aussie teammate Brad Hoog, Katich talked about the preparation level of the Indian player.
“Virat Kohli pushes himself to the maximum. It’s unbelievable. We played in an era where some of the boys were renown for being religious trainers and Virat has taken it to a whole new level,” he said.
