India have been blessed with many world-class batters in T20 cricket.

Mohammad Kaif is a big name in world cricket and is quite active through social media, interviews and commentatory. He believes in an opinionated nature and doesn’t shy away from giving his viewpoint on different matters. The world has seen a lot of great captains since the inception of the game. If we talk about Indian cricket, MS Dhoni, Sourav Ganguly and Virat Kohli were successful leaders.

However, when Kaif was asked to name the most impressive captains of all time, his choices were surprising. The 41-year-old went with Rohit Sharma and Kane Williamson. “I think Rohit Sharma and Kane Williamson. Don’t consider the current IPL season as Rohit has done exceptionally well for Mumbai Indians as a captain,” he said.

Mumbai finished last in the points table, while Williamson-led Sunrises Hyderabad failed to make it to the playoffs.

Rohit has been rested for the T20I series against South Africa, and he will return for a one-off Test and white-ball series in England. On the other hand, Kane will lead New Zealand in the upcoming Test series against the Ben Stokes-led team.
