Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra has once again made a statement on Virat Kohli’s break from cricket.
He can’t understand the reason behind Virat missing the entire tour of the West Indies. The 33-year-old hasn’t been in great form, and Chopra feels some game time before the Asia Cup 2022 could have been good for the veteran.
The 44-year-old advocated the importance of continunity that has benefited Suryakumar Yadav.
“The problem is that you need to remind people of Virat’s numbers. This is because he has missed a lot of games. Even Rohit and Suryakumar won’t score in every match. But since they play continuously, we remember their performances. Virat walks into the team, no doubt, but he should have played atleast ODIs or T20Is against the West Indies.”
