Shahid Afridi, the former Pakistan cricketer, has time and again spoken on the Kashmir issue.

Shahid Afridi has tested positive for Covid-19 for the second time since the deadly virus was detected. He is isolated and is expected to miss some matches for his 4th franchise, the Quetta Gladiators.

Shahid Afridi, 41, is at home and will be added to the Quetta Gladiators squad after completing the quarantine period and a negative RT-PCR test.

The veteran player was traded to Quetta Gladiators from Multan Sultans ahead of PSL 2022. Afridi has played 50 matches in the Pakistan Super League and amassed 465 runs across his association with 3 franchises – Sultans, Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings.

He has taken 44 wickets in the tournament. “I have unfortunately tested positive but have no symptoms at all. InshALLAH hope to recover soon, test negative and rejoin QG as soon as possible. Good luck to all teams in #HBLPSL7. I’m committed to giving it my all in my last PSL edition,” he wrote on Twitter. Earlier, he had tested positive in 2020.
