Joe Root is in the form of his life and is scoring runs series after series. The England skipper has already slammed three hundreds in the ongoing Test series against Virat Kohli-led team.
In the same light of events, an old tweet from Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan is going viral on social media. The tweet is from 2016 when Indian skipper Virat Kohli scored an unbeaten 82 off 51 in Mohali to seal the Men in Blue spot in the semi-final of the T20 World Cup.
Actually, former English cricketer Andrew Flintoff had stated that if Virat goes by this pace, one day he will be equal to that of Joe Root. “At this rate @imVkohli will be as good as @root66 one day! Not sure who @englandcricket will meet in the final now!” he tweeted.
Amitabh Bachchan didn’t like Flintoff’s words and wrote: “Root who? जड़ से उखाड़ देंगे Root ko! (Root who? We will uproot him).”
