After Mitchell Starc, England Test skipper Joe Root is thinking of entering the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 mega auction, but the final decision will be made once he thinks that it would not impact his game in Test format.
The IPL 2022 mega auction is scheduled in Bengaluru on February 12 and 13.
“Time is ticking, but I have a lot to think about. If IPL doesn’t impact my game in Test cricket, I will put my name in the auction. However, I will not do anything that distracts me from playing red-ball cricket for England. It is importanbt to set your priorities right,” ESPNcricinfo quoted England captain as saying.
