With the rivals desperate for a wicket, there were a few words exchanged between Mohammed Siraj and James Anderson.

Mohammed Siraj is an aggressive young man, who loves taking on rivals. After the hosts scored 183, India took a lead of 95 runs, courtesy runs by Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Siraj.

With the rivals desperate for a wicket, there were a few words exchanged between Mohammed Siraj and James Anderson. The incident took place in the 84th over of India’s innings when Siraj went after Anderson but he completely missed the ball. The English pacer said something to the Indian fast bowler, and Siraj didn’t hold back.

Meanwhile, India were in a spot of bother when Rohit, Virat, Pujara and Rahane were dismissed in quick succession. The worrying factor has been the form of Cheteshwar Pujara who was dismissed by James Anderson.

Former India cricketer Aakash Chopra spoke about Pujara’s form in Test cricket.

“There is no shame in getting out to good deliveries but the problem here is that Pujara is getting too many of them. Questions like — why is this happening with me? That is the question that Pujara has to answer.”
