There was no place for Samson, and the veteran went with Rishabh Pant, which didn’t go down well with the fans of the Kerala-based batter. They joined hands to slam Jaffer, and one of them even urged Elon Musk to suspend the account of the legendary player for running the agenda against Sanju Samson.

Pant has done well in one-day internationals in comparison to T20Is. The left-handed batter has scored 840 runs at an average of 36.52 in 27 ODIs. He has hit one hundred and 5 fifties at a strike rate of 108.80.

On the other hand, Samson has 294 runs at an average of 73.50 in 10 one-day internationals. He has smashed two fifties, and his runs have come at a strike rate of 106.13.
