Former opener Aakash Chopra believes Yuzvendra Chahal is the only wicket-taking spin option in India's ICC T20 World Cup squad.

Former India player Gautam Gambhir has suggested one change for the next game of the Asia Cup 2022. The veteran wants the team management to drop Yuzvendra Chahal and include Avesh Khan in its place.

Chahal took a wicket against Pakistan but conceded over 40 runs in his spell. On the other hand, Ravi Bishnoi was impressive in his first game of the tournament.

“India shouldn’t drop Ravi Bishnoi as he bowled well against Pakistan. Chahal was expensive and couldn’t create an impact, and he should make way for Avesh Khan. India need another fast bowler on such tracks,” said Gambhir.

The Men in Green thumped India by five wickets, with Mohammad Rizwan and Mohammad Rizwan playing match-winning innings. Nawaz was named the Man of the Match for his all-round display against the arch-rivals.

Rohit Sharma’s team had earlier defeated Pakistan by 5 wickets in the group match of the Asia Cup 2022.
