India and Australia will play a four-match Test series in the sub-continent nation. India have been a dominating team in the famous rivalry.
The teams are expected to play on spin friendly wickets as the home squad has a history of winning games on the wickets assisting the tweakers.
However, former India player Murali Kartik feels that rank-tuners could backfire.
“Indian batters have struggled against quality spinners and preparing spin-friendly wickets against Australia could backfire,” he told PTI.
Kartik said India should play Kuldeep Yadav if the track is flat as he can take wickets out of nowhere. However, he batted for Axar Patel if the wicket offers spin from day 2.
