Former India spinner, Sairaj Bahutule, said that people shouldn’t compare Yash Dhull’s batting and captaincy skills with Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni. The U-19 Indian team led by Dhull won the World Cup defeating England in the final.
The 49-year old Bahutule, who was the team’s bowling coach in the Asia Cup and the World Cup, told news18.com that Yash was good in the batting and captaincy departments.
“He shouldn’t be compared to Kohli and Dhoni. Let him create his own identity. He is a very good batter. Dhull led the team well. For him, the actual journey starts now.”
“He has been selected for the Ranji Trophy. He needs to grow and perform there.”
