Dinesh Karthik, who will represent Royal Challengers Bangalore, recently named his overseas MVP and player to watch out for in IPL 2022.
Speaking to Cricbuzz, he said David Warner will be his player to watch out for in the 15th season of the league. He was bought by Delhi Capitals for the new season. The left-handed batter will earn Rs. 6.25 crore for his services.
“He is a terrific player, and has won the Orange Cap on three occasions. The last season didn’t go as per plans and he has a point to prove. He has gone back to his old franchise, and I played with him when he was a part of Delhi based team. David Warner is someone, who can score runs easily.”
For Karthik, Devon Conway will be the Most Valuable Player. Conway was New Zealand’s top performer last year and played a key role in the Kane Williamson-led team’s run to the finale of the ICC T20 World Cup in the UAE.
Chennai Super Kings paid Rs. 1 crore for the Kiwi player. “He is another player who is capable of scoring a lot of runs in the Indian Premier League. Conway had a breakthrough season with New Zealand and showed his class in the T20 World Cup,” said Karthik.
