BCCI selectors sacking
Dinesh Karthik, who was part of the T20 World Cup squad, has opened on the removal of the selectors.

Dinesh Karthik is still alive in cricket and kicking. The right-handed batter has staged another comeback to international cricket. The forgotten star of the Indian cricket after the World Cup in 2019 has proved his critics wrong who predicted the end of his career.

The man himself has credited Team India head coach Rahul Dravid, captain Rohit Sharma and the national selectors for his comeback.

The senior pro has scored 287 runs at an average of 57.40 and a strike rate of 191.33 in 14 games of IPL 2022. He has hit one fifty, 22 fours and 21 sixes in the tournament.

“I think a lot of credit goes to the Selectors and Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid for my comeback. Because lots of youngsters around but to see the skill set and believing in me this the guy we need for the WC and given the opportunity,” he said on the RCB website.
