Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant was conned by a Haryana cricketer Mrinank Singh. Singh duped Pant for INR 1.63 crore and his manager Puneet Solanki had filed a case against Singh in February 2021.

The Saket court last week issued a notice to the Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai to present Mrinank while he was arrested by the Juhu police for duping a Mumbai businessman.

Singh told Pant that he could even resell his luxury items. The southpaw wanted to sell his Franck Muller Vanguard Yachting Series watch worth Rs 36.25 lakh and Richard Mille watch worth Rs 62.60 lakh.

Moreover, Pant paid him more than INR 2 crore to buy various luxury goods.

However, Mrinank failed to obtain the items and the deal was cancelled after a few months. Both the parties arrived at a mutual oral settlement for INR 1.63 crore and Singh gave him a cheque for the said amount but it bounced due to insufficient funds.
