Former New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori has joined the Sunrisers Hyderabad as their new head coach.

He will replace Brian Lara, whose contract was not extended by the franchise after poor performances in the Indian Premier League 2023.

Vettori has previously worked with Royal Challengers Bangalore in the tournament. He was also associated with Australia during the Ashes 2023.

The 2016 champions also thanked Lara for his work.
