South Africa pace legend Dale Steyn has heaped massive praise on Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami for their success in Test cricket.

South Africa’s legendary fast bowler Dale Steyn has announced his retirement from all formats of cricket. He had earlier bid adieu to Test cricket in August 2019 and had insisted to continue representing South Africa in the shorter formats of the game.

He was expected to play in the T20 World Cup scheduled in 2020 in Australia but the outbreak of the COVID-19 led to the cancellation of the event.

Earlier this year, the pacer pulled out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) but played in the Pakistan Super League.

Dale Steyn took to Twitter to announce his retirement. “Today I officially retire from the game I love the most. Bitter sweet but grateful. Thank you to everyone, from family to teammates, journalists to fans, it’s been an incredible journey together,” Dale Steyn wrote in his tweet.

Here’s the tweet:

He took 439 wickets in 93 Test matches, 196 wickets in 125 ODIs and 64 wickets in 47 T20Is.
