Stuart Broad has said that neutralising Nathan Lyon’s threat could lead England to success in the upcoming Ashes. The pacer feels visitors can learn the art of handling the Aussie spinner from Indian players.

Although, Lyon is the best Australia spinner but he will be under pressure to deliver against the arch-rivals. The 34-year old took just 11 wickets in 4 Test matches against India.

Speaking to News Corp, Broad said England players should follow India’s approach to tackle Australia’s premier spinner.

“We’ve studied what Hazlewood, Cummins and Starc have done for a long period of time and the role Nathan Lyon plays, I actually think he’s their key man. He’s so consisten,t and it allows their bowlers to bowl the spells and overs they do.”
