India-Pakistan 2023 ODI World Cup Narendra Modi Stadium
The BCCI is set to announce the schedule of the World Cup after the completion of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL).

Wasim Khan, who is the General Manager of the International Cricket Council, made a big statement on Pakistan’s participation in the 2023 ODI World Cup.

The tournament will be played in India, but Pakistan are not willing to travel to the country after the Men in Blue refused to play the Asia Cup 2023 in Pakistan.

The BCCI and PCB have agreed to play matches involving India at a neutral venue, while the remaining matches will be organized in Pakistan.

If India qualify for the tournament’s final, the mega game will also be contested outside Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Wasim said that the Men in Green will play their World Cup games outside India as there is no way for them to travel to India after what BCCI did with the Continental Cup.

Fans are unhappy with yet another controversy and took to social media to opine on the matter.

India and Pakistan last met in the ICC T20 World Cup match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Rohit Sharma’s team won the game by 4 wickets, with Virat Kohli scoring a match-winning 82 not out.
