The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly has once again refused to comment on Virat Kohli’s statements during a press conference in Mumbai.
“Let’s not take this (Virat kohli vs Sourav Ganguly) further, and I have nothing to say,” Sourav Ganguly told reporters. Asked if the BCCI would take action against the Test skipper after the South Africa tour, Ganguly said, “I have nothing to say as it is the matter of the board, and they will deal with it,” he added.
He had earlier revealed the reason behind the 33-year old removal from the ODI captaincy.
“I personally requested Virat to continue in his role in T20Is, but he refused. The selectors then took a call and went ahead with Rohit Sharma is the ODIs as well,” he said.
However, Virat categorically denied that he had a word with Ganguly on the issue of captaincy in the shortest format of the game.
