The BCCI felicitated India’s five World Cup-winning teams on March 15. On Sunday, the Indian Cricket Board organised the Naman Awards 2026 in New Delhi, with the U19 Women’s T20 World Cup-winning squad getting recognition first.
The U19 Men’s World Cup-winning squad was honoured by IPL Chairman Arun Singh Dhumal. The 2025 Champions Trophy-winning team was also felicitated. The 2025 ICC Women’s World Cup winners were then honoured. Finally, India’s Men’s T20 World Cup 2026-winning squad was felicitated.

Rohit Sharma’s team thumped New Zealand in the summit clash of the 2025 Champions Trophy. It was the turn of the Indian Women’s team to dominate the World Cup. They secured a 52-run win over South Africa in the Women’s World Cup.

India won the Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 final at the Narendra Modi Stadium. The Men in Blue defeated New Zealand by 96 runs in the final.
