The Indian team that will head to South Africa for three Tests and as many ODIs will be put under mandatory quarantine in Mumbai before leaving for South Africa on December 16.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced a 18-member squad for India’s upcoming Test series against South Africa. The three-match Test series will start on December 26 at the SuperSport Park in Centurion.

Ravindra Jadeja and Shubman Gill were not considered due to injuries, while Hanuma Vihari was recalled to the side after his stellar performance for India A in South Africa. He last represented India earlier this year in the Border Gavaskar Trophy in Australia.
