Pakistan’s Haris Rauf is known for his celebration styles. His throat slashing celebration had created controversy in BBL, and the pacer was forced to leave it mid-day. He has once again introduced a new style in the ongoing season of the Big Bash League.

The ‘COVID-safe’ celebration of the 28-year old where he gestured to sanitize his hands and put on a mask after dismissing Kurtis Patterson has gone viral.

He performed the new style during the third over of the Big Bash League (BBL) match between Perth Scorchers vs Melbourne Stars. Patterson nicked Rauf’s delivery to the wicket-taker Joe Clarke.

Rauf acted to take out sanitizer from his pocket and then wore a mask, leaving everyone in splits. He finished with figures of 2 for 38 in his four overs.
