Speaking to ANI, a source said that Pant is asymptomatic. “He will not travel with the squad to Durham as he is recovering at the moment. We are confident that he can join the team soon after the negative report.”

When the source was asked about the other players, it was revealed that they are fine and the regular testing is on. “As of now, other players are fine, but we are not taking any risk. They will be tested every now and then,” the source added.

Rishabh Pant was last spotted at Wembley during the European Championship. He was slammed by fans for not wearing a mask despite knowing the Covid-19 situation in England.
