Pakistan will not sack Babar Azam
Pakistan's ODI record under Babar's leadership has been decent, with 17 wins and eight defeats from 26 matches.

Pakistan opener Imam-ul-Haq was miffed with the team management after he was dropped for the fourth and and fifth ODI against New Zealand. The southpaw took to social media and left everyone guessing with a cryptic message.

“Life is an unexpected journey so never expect anything from anyone”. Be patient, Allah is watching!” Imam wrote.

When Pakistan captain Babar Azam was asked about Imam’s tweet, he claimed that he hasn’t seen what the opening batter wrote on the social networking site.

“My phone was not with me. I am not aware what he wrote on Twitter,” Babar said after the fifth ODI.

Babar said that the team is united and if something happens between the players, they keep it to themselves. He said that Imam’s tweet has nothing to do with his omission.

“We are united. The players are like family and keep things to themselves. We don’t believe in leaking the stuff. There is a trust in the team,” he said.

Speculations are doing rounds that Imam was dropped after his comments in the press conference where he accused the management of over experimenting.
