After two successful seasons of The Hundred, the tournament is back with its third edition, as the eight franchises will clash against each other for the title. The league will start on August 1 and will end on August 27.
The Player Draft took place on March 23, with big names like Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Andre Russell, and Kieron Pollard failing to get the teams. While Babar and Rizwan are the top two batters in the shorter formats of the game, Russell and Pollard are renowned for their all-round game in white-ball cricket.
They found no takers, meaning the officials of the eight teams don’t find them good enough.
