Overview:
Interestingly, all the top spots are occupied by the Men in Green. Kamran Akmal and Mohammad Hafeez are on seven apiece.
Babar Azam is about to enter one of the unwanted lists in T20Is. The right-handed batter registered a three-ball duck in the first match of the T20i series against Zimbabwe in Rawalpindi on Tuesday.
The star batter was trapped LBW by Brad Evans in a chase of 148. However, Pakistan won the match by five wickets. The dismissal put Babar ahead of Shahid Afridi for the most ducks by a Pakistan batter in the shortest format of the game.
Babar has amassed nine ducks, one more than Afridi’s eight T20I ducks. He is just one duck away from equalling the world record, which is owned by two Pakistani batters, Saim Ayub and Umar Akmal.
Most ducks by a Pakistan batter in T20Is
Saim Ayub – 10
Umar Akmal – 10
Babar Azam – 9
Shahid Afridi – 8
Kamran Akmal – 7
Mohammad Hafeez – 7

The latest duck was Babar’s third in his last six T20I innings. Babar, who was once renowned for big scores and consistency, has struggled to get going in the last few years.
He has played more contests than other names on that list and is likely to become No.1 sooner or later.
Babar was dropped from the T20I team and was recently recalled for the series against South Africa. However, he is still not able to give his best as Pakistan continue to prepare for the 2026 T20 World Cup.
