Australia batter Travis Head has announced the birth of his second child with his wife, Jessica Davies. The left-handed batter took to social media on Friday, November 8, to reveal the news. Their daughter, Milla, was born in September 2022.

The couple was blessed with a son, Harrison George Head, on November 4, 2024. The Aussie player shared the joyful news on Instagram, posting a picture of his family.

“04.11.2024. Welcome to the world Harrison George Head,” he read.

The 30-year-old is on paternity leave and is out of the ongoing three-ODI series against Pakistan.

Head had played 156 matches across formats in international cricket. In 38 T20Is, he has amassed 1093 runs, including five fifties.

The southpaw has represented Australia in 69 ODIs, scoring 2,645 runs at an average of 44.08, with six hundreds and 16 half-centuries. He scored a hundred in the final of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 and was named the Player of the Match.

Chasing a target of 241, Head scored 137 runs off 120 balls, laced with 15 fours and 4 sixes, as Australia won the game by six wickets.

In 49 Tests, he has accumulated 3,173 runs, with the help of seven tons and 16 fifties.
