Speaking to AAP at the launch of Amazon Prime’s The Test documentary, Mitchell Starc said that he hopes to return to full fitness ahead of the second game in India.

“That’s going to happen. I will see how I am placed at the end of the month. Hopefully, I will be there for the second Test if they want to play me,” he said.

All-rounder Cameron Green is also likely to be out of the opening contest. This could open the doors for Josh Hazlewood.
