Australian cricketers are nervous barley a month before their first tour of Pakistan in 24 years, amid an increase in terror attacks in the sub-continent nation, the Sydney Morning Herald reported on Wednesday.”We’re all toey about it,” a source close to the team told the newspaper.

Australia will play three Tests, as many ODIs and one T20I in Pakistan. Australia have not played in Pakistan since 1998 due to security concerns.

Earlier, New Zealand had left the country just before the first match due to security threat. Even England had cancelled the planned tour of Pakistan.

Pakistan’s interior Minister Sheikh Rashid said terrorist incidents had increased by more than a third since the United States left Afghanistan. A bomb blast had killed three people and wounded 20 in Eastern Pakistan.
