The hosts want to make use of the moisture in the wicket. “We will bowl first. It is a good wicket. It would be hard and fast. We want to make full use of the moisture. The preparations have been good, and the boys are looking forward to the game. We have some good young players, and they will try to give their best,” Mitchell Marsh said.
India skipper Shubman Gill would have bowled first as well. “We have bowled first as well because of the weather. It is going to be a start-and-stop game. It is a good surface, and hopefully we will put runs in the bbiard. We are mentally ready. The boys were playing in India, so we are in a good space. The practice sessions helped us to prepare for the bounce over here. Nitish Kumar (Reddy) is making his debut,” Shubman Gill said.
