The Asia Cup 2025 has started with the first match between Afghanistan and Hong Kong on September 9 in Abu Dhabi. India will start their campaign against the UAE on September 10 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The biggest match of the Continental Cup between India and Pakistan will be played on September 14 in Dubai. There is a possibility of the two arch-rivals meeting thrice.
Asia Cup 2025 Prize Money
The prize money has been increased for the current edition. The winners will receive INR 2.60 crore, while the runners-up take home INR 1.30 crore. However, the Asia Cricket Council hasn’t given any official update.
Asia Cup Teams
Eight teams are competing for the Asia Cup. India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan qualified directly for the tournament.
Oman, UAE and Hong Kong are the three qualifiers.
Team India’s fixtures in the Asia Cup 2025
India are the defending champions and have won eight titles so far. The Men in Blue will start their campaign on September 10 with the match against Pakistan on September 14. Both games will be played in Dubai. The third and final group contest is against Oman at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Dubai.
