Team India pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s father, Kiran Pal Singh passed away on Thursday. He was battling cancer for a very long time and also had liver ailments. He breathed his last at his Ganganagar C-Pocket residence in Meerut.
Kiran Pal Singh, 63, was earlier undergoing treatment at a hospital in Noida but was staying at home with the rest of the family for the last few days. He was earlier employed with the Uttar Pradesh Police.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s father had opted for voluntary retirement and was suffering from the illness for quite a while. The Indian cricketer was at his home and was taking good care of his father along with the rest of the family members.
Kiran Pal Singh had reportedly undergone successful chemotherapy in Noida and Delhi. However, his health deteriorated a couple of weeks ago following which he was admitted to a hospital in Ganga Nagar in Meerut and was later shifted to another hospital in Muzaffarnagar.
