Annabel Sutherland has regained her place at the top of the ICC Women’s T20I Bowling Rankings, with Deepti Sharma, who was previously at No. 1, now sitting in second, as per Tuesday’s official rankings release.
Annabel Sutherland has regained the No. 1 spot in the ICC Women’s T20I Bowling Rankings with a rating of 736, which she initially reached in August 2025. Deepti Sharma’s fall to second ends her short stint at the top, but she continues to be a dominant force among the best bowlers in T20I cricket.
Following India’s T20I against Sri Lanka in Thiruvananthapuram on December 30, where the team scored 175 for 7, the new rankings were released. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur played a key role, contributing 68 runs off 43 balls. Her performance propelled her to 13th in the T20I batting rankings with 634 rating points, climbing two spots.
While Sri Lanka fought hard, the target was ultimately beyond their reach. Opener Hasini Perera led the charge with an elegant 65 off 42 balls, even as captain Chamari Athapaththu was dismissed early for 2. Perera’s innings helped her climb 31 places to 40th in the batting rankings, earning 490 points.

Supporting Perera was Imesh Dulani, who displayed great confidence with a 50 off 39 balls, including eight boundaries. Just six matches into her T20I career, Dulani climbed 77 spots to break into the top 100 for the first time.
Deepti Sharma may have dropped from the No. 1 position in the bowling rankings, but she had an impactful outing with figures of 1 for 28 in four overs. This performance kept her steady at third place in the T20I all-rounder rankings with 382 points. Arundhati Reddy made a notable leap, moving up 21 spots to 44th after an explosive 27 not out off 11 balls and a key wicket.
Sutherland will not participate in the upcoming Women’s Premier League after deciding to pull out. Australian leg-spinner Alana King has been named as her replacement for the season by Delhi Capitals.
