Ajinkya Rahane has made a bold statement on his form in Test cricket. He is struggling since last few series and his place has been questioned by many including former cricketers.
There is a chance he could be dropped from the side if he fails to perform in the upcoming Test series between India and New Zealand. Meanwhile, the right-handed batter was talking to reporters when he gave a reply to his critics.
“I am not concerned about my form, it’s not necessary to make a hundred – I always think about the team, even 50 or 60 is important for the team cause”.
He further added that Team India can handle the absence of leading players.
“We are missing few players but it’s a big opportunity for few youngsters to prove themselves – this team is all about backing players – now, we are thinking about this series”
