New Zealand left-arm spinner Ajaz Patel created history on Saturday, becoming only the third bowler in Test history to claim all ten wickets in an innings.

New Zealand’s spinner Ajaz Patel created history on the second day of the last and final Test of the ongoing series against India. He took all the ten Indian wickets in the first innings in Mumbai. He became the third bowler in the history of Test cricket to achieve this feat. Earlier, Jim Laker and Anil Kumble dismissed all the rival batters in an innings of a Test.

Ajaz took 4 wickets on Day 1 and came back to dismiss the remaining batters on the second day.

He also registered the best figures by a New Zealand bowler surpassing great Sir Richard Hadlee.

Former and current cricketers lauded the Kiwi bowler for his stunning effort.
