Former South Africa player AB de Villiers is finally ready to join Royal Challengers Bangalore again but not as a player.
He is likely to come on board as a mentor for his former IPL franchise. This comes after Andy Flower became the team’s new head coach for three years.
According to Cricbuzz, there has yet to be an official confirmation on ABD’s role, but he may work with the new coach.
Andy was with Lucknow Super Giants for two years, but his contract was not renewed, and the team brought former Australia opener Justin Langar as his replacement. After the departure of Sanjay Bangar, RCB signed Flower starting from IPL 2024.
