Delhi Capitals Playing XI IPL 2023
The Capitals hadn't won the title, with the 2020 edition being the only instance they made it to the final.

Former India opener Aakash Chopra has named his Delhi Capitals’ (DC) probable playing XI for IPL 2023. He feels the franchise can’t win the title in the 16th edition.

The Capitals hadn’t won the title, with the 2020 edition being the only instance they made it to the final. They will play their first match against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Saturday, April 1.

Chopra named David Warner, Prithvi Shaw, and Mitchell Marsh the Delhi Capitals’ top three.

“David Warner will open with Prithvi Shaw; Mitchell Marsh will come at No. 3,” he said.

“Manish Pandey at No.4. Then Rilee Rossouw or Rovman Powell at No. 5. At No. 6, Sarfaraz Khan or any other keeper. There is no confirmation on the keeper’s part.”

Aakash Chopra picked two spinners and three pacers in the bowling department.

“Axar Patel at No. 7, and then Kuldeep Yadav and three pacers. Anrich Nortje, Chetan Sakariya, and either Mukesh Kumar or Ishant Sharma will make it.”

However, Choprs said DC will not win the IPL title in 2023.
