South Africa defeated the West Indies by 6 wickets in the second T20I. Chasing 259, the Proteas were never in trouble and won the game with seven balls left. A total of 517 runs were scored off 233 balls, laced with 47 fours and 35 sixes.

The hosts completed the highest ever successful run chase in T20Is. West Indies smashed 258/5, with Johnson Charles (118 off 46 balls), Kyle Mayers (51) and Romario Shepherd (41) playing sensational knocks.

For South Africa, Quinton de Kock (100 off 44 balls), Reeza Hendricks (68 off 28 balls), Aiden Markram (38 not out) and Heinrich Klaasen (16 not out) made valuable contributions. De Kock was named the Player of the Match.

Earlier, the visitors won the opening game of the series.
