Men in Blue were in a spot of bother after losing three quick wickets in the first ODI against Australia in Hyderabad. However, veteran batsman MS Dhoni brought things under control and shared a match winning partnership with Kedar Jadhav.
Apart from playing some attractive strokes, they completed their individual fifties as well. After the quick dismissal of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Ambati Rayudu, they batted cautiously before unleasing their strokes.
Dhoni, who played another gem of an innings, hit a massive six against Coulter-Nile in the 38th over. With this big hit, he surpassed Rohit Sharma on the list of most number of sixes for India in ODI cricket. He now has 216 sixes in the format, one more than Rohit.
