A report in Mumbai Mirror suggests that the former Indian skipper is likely to be rested to include Dinesh Karthik and Rishabh Pant in the upcoming T20 series against Australia. MS Dhoni is sure shot of representing India in the World Cup while there is a race between Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik to fill the remaining one spot for reserve wicketkeeper.
Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal could be rested considering their workload in international arena. Jasprit Bumrah, who was rested from the ODI series against Australia and the entire New Zealand tour, is expected to lead the attack in absence of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammed Shami.
