The Men in Blue kept their dominance alive in the second T20I against the Black Caps on Sunday. Virat Kohli-led team handed another defeat to Kane Williamson’s troops by seven-wicket at the Eden Park, Auckland. While the Indian bowlers restricted the hosts at 132 runs after 20 overs, star batsmen Kl Rahul (57*) and Shreyas Iyer (44) performed exceptionally well to drive the visitors to a comprehensive win.
After the conclusion of the game, Yuzvendra Chahal started his interview session with the players on his popular Chahal TV. He proceeded to have a chat with Kiwi batsman Martin Guptill.
Guptill, who was having a word with the Indian opener Rohit Sharma, suddenly interrupted by Chahal who asked, “What’s up boys? What’s up?” At this, Guptill responded to Chahal’s question with a Hindi slang. He replied, “Kya be g*ndu?” This reaction of the Kiwi superstar left everyone including Rohit Sharma in splits.
When Chahal realized that the whole incident caught live on camera he quickly changed the topic and continued his interview by asking, “Kaisa lag raha hai aapko? (How are you feeling?)”
As expected Guptill’s reaction to the Indian spinner went viral on social media platforms in no time. Fans even started trolling Chahal on Twitter.
