Mumbai Indians pacer Jasprit Bumrah is bowling exceptionally well in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League. He has provided breakthroughs which have kept Mumbai in the hunt as far as play-off race is concerned. The young Indian sensation has been taught by none other than Lasith Malinga, who feels Bumrah is the best fast bowler in the world at the moment.

The veteran Sri Lankan has praised his Mumbai Indians teammate for taking the world by storm. “We know exactly how good Jasprit is. He is the number one bowler in Mumbai Indians and world cricket,” said Malinga.

Bumrah will lead India’s attack in the upcoming World Cup in England and Wales. In the last 18 ODIs, Bumrah has picked up 29 wickets at an average of 21.00. He has been among the wickets in this IPL season for Mumbai Indians. He has scalped 8 wickets in 8 games. The three-time IPL champions have won five out of the eight games that they have played so far and are third in the points table with 10 points.
