The Mumbai Indians (MI) will once again play all their home matches at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The five-time champions will look to capitalize on their home advantage as they take on seven different teams at their fortress.
MI will kick off their home campaign against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on March 31 in a high-voltage clash under the lights. Their next challenge will be against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on April 7, followed by a match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on April 17.
The most anticipated fixture of the season will be MI’s battle against their arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on April 20. This contest has historically been regarded as the ‘El-Classico’ of IPL.
Mumbai will then take on Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in an afternoon fixture on April 27, before facing Gujarat Titans (GT) in another 3:30 PM encounter on May 6. The home leg will conclude with a clash against Delhi Capitals (DC) on May 15 at 7:30 PM.
With a balanced squad and the electrifying Wankhede crowd behind them, MI will aim to make the most of their home conditions. The team, led by Hardik Pandya, hosting 33,100 fans will be determined to put on strong performances in front of their passionate fans after a poor show in IPL 2024.
