Punjab Kings (PBKS) have opted to host some of their home matches of IPL 2025 at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur. Their remaining home matches will be hosted in Dharamsala. This newly developed venue, with a seating capacity of 38,000, will serve as PBKS’ fortress as they take on some of the league’s top teams in front of their passionate home crowd.
PBKS will kick off their home campaign against Rajasthan Royals (RR) on April 5 under the lights at 7:30 PM IST. The action continues as they take on Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on April 8, followed by a crucial clash against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on April 15, both at 7:30 PM IST. Punjab will then face Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on April 20, their only afternoon match in Mullanpur, scheduled for 3:30 PM IST.
The decision to shift PBKS matches to Mullanpur marks a new era for the franchise, moving away from its traditional home in Mohali.
The modern stadium promises an electrifying atmosphere, with fans eagerly anticipating high-voltage encounters featuring top stars.
