Virat Kohli scripts unwanted record, becomes worst batter in ODIs
The Men in Blue suffered a shocking defeat to England in the second semi-finals and crashed out of the ICC T20 World Cup with humiliation.

Virat Kohli is having a torrid time in the ongoing ODI series against Bangladesh.

After performing well in the Asia Cup and the ICC T20 World Cup, the former skipper was rested from the New Zealand tour.

The veteran was recalled for ODIs and Tests in Bangladesh but the results have been far from satisfactory.

He has recorded the worst average for India in ODIs with a minimum of 10 innings while batting among the top three batters in a calendar year.

In 2022, his runs have come at an average of 18.9 with just one fifty under his belt.

The 34-year-old opened the batting in the second game against the Tigers but managed just 5 runs off 6 balls. He was dismissed for 9 in the first game in Dhaka.
