Sohail Khan has revealed his conversation with Virat Kohli during the 2015 World Cup in Australia.
The 38-year-old, who represented Pakistan in 27 international games, was a part of the team in the 50-over global tournament Down Under.
According to him, Virat came up and asked, ‘Why are you jumping so much? The fast bowler replied, “Tumhara baap Test cricketer tha jab tum U19 cricket khelte thay.”
For the record, both Virat and Shoail made their debut in 2008. The Pakistan bowler took 5 wickets against the Men in Blue while conceding 55 runs from 10 overs. MS Dhoni’s team scored 300/7 in 50 overs, with Kohli slamming 107 off 126 balls. He hit 8 fours during his knock.
Chasing 301, the Men in Green were bowled out for 224 runs in 47 overs. Virat was named the Player of the Match as his innings proved vital in India’s win by 76 runs.
