Prithvi Shaw selection snub
He was benched by Rahul Dravid and Hardik Pandya.

Many former players are surprised that Prithvi Shaw was not considered for the white-ball matches against Sri Lanka. He has consistently performed in Vijay Hazare Trophy, Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and the Indian Premier League.

While he plays for Mumbai in domestic cricket, the right-handed batter is a part of Delhi Capitals in IPL. During a discussion with former India player Madan Lal, one of the famous journalists, Vikrant Gupta, made a big remark about Shaw.

He refused to disclose the details but admitted that he recently came to know something very disappointing and negative about Prithvi Shaw.

Reacting to Vikrant’s statement, Madan Lal said that Prithvi Shaw could face Vinod Kambli’s fate.

Here’s the video of their conversation

For the record, Vinod Kambli was one of the best players when he started his career but lost his way due to parties, alcohol and bad behaviour.

Meanwhile, Shaw is currently playing in the ongoing Ranji Trophy season.
