KL Rahul equalled Virat Kohli’s numbers in one of the record lists. He scored an unbeaten 75 off 91 balls, with the help of 7 fours and a six as the Men in Blue won the first ODI against Australia at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Chasing 189, the Men in Blue were in trouble with Ishan Kishan, Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill and Suryakumar back in the dugout. However, KL’s partnerships with Hardik Pandya and Jadeja sealed the game in India’s favour.

While Jadeja smashed an unbeaten 45 off 69 balls, Hardik hit 25.

Rahul amassed 50+ plus score for the 18th time in his career.
