When Shahid Afridi was asked about his opinion, he said ICC should settle the matter.

The BCCI and PCB have been at loggerheads for a few months regarding the Asia Cup 2023 venue, which is scheduled to be played in Pakistan. Jay Shah, the secretary of the BCCI, has made it clear that India will not visit Pakistan for the tournament and even urged the continental cup to be shifted to another country.

On the other hand, the apex body of cricket in the neighboring country has said it won’t send Pakistan national cricket team to the 2023 ODI World Cup in India.

Sharing his views on the issue, R Ashwin said that Pakistan would come to India for the global event, and they can’t boycott it.

“Asia Cup 2023 was supossed to take place in Pakistan but India said that it won’t come if the venue is not changed. Pakistan has said that they will not come to India for the World Cup. I think it is not possible,” he said.

When Shahid Afridi was asked about his opinion, he said ICC should settle the matter.

“India agar aankhe dikha raha hain or taking such strong steps, then they have made themselves like that, otherwise they wouldn’t have the courage to do it. In the end, it is important to make youself strong,” he said.

“I have no idea whether India will come to Pakistan or Pakistan will go to India. In this case, ICC should resolve the matter. However, even ICC won’t be able to do anything in front of the BCCI.”
