Umran Malik has become the most famous Indian pacer due to his pace. His career graph has seen an upward movement since his magnificent performances for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He clocked 156 kph in the ODI series against Sri Lanka, which India won 3-0.
However, he has been expensive due to his wayward line and length at times. He has become famous in Pakistan, a country renowned for producing quality fast bowlers.
Pakistan’s emerging pacer Zaman Khan, who also plays for Lahore Qalandars, recently said that he would break Umran Malik’s record for the fastest ball in the upcoming edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), which starts on February 13.
“I will break the record of Umran Malik’s fastest ball in this Pakistan Super League edition In Shaa Allah,” said the pacer.
Zaman is yet to make his debut for Pakistan and has made seven List A and 30 T20 appearances so far.
On the other hand, Umran has played 8 ODIs and the same number of T20Is, in which he has taken 24 wickets.
